The Berlin Foto Biennale's curators team has decided to grant three special awards on Documentary Photography contributing to the Human Rights, selected among the works to be exhibited at the Biennial. The Awards were granted to: YOUNG EMERGING TALENT: Yusuke Suzuki (Japan) for his portfolio Aleepo Syria, City of Chaos. BEST DOCUMENTARY PORTRAIT: Sebastian Holzknecht (Austria) for his image Jacob from the series Not Guilty. BEST PORTFOLIO ON HUMAN RIGHTS: Andrea Star Reese for her portfolio Disorder.
