Disorder on Al Jazeera's AJ+ and multiple reports on CNN

The Human Right's Watch report on shacking in Indonesia was released in Jakarta on March 21. The video, shot by my fixer, cameraman Goen Guy Gunawan, and accompanied by my photographs was picked up and reedited by AJ+ (Al Jazeera Media Network) now viewed by 1,090,990. After following this story for five years I am without words to describe this experience. Pasung was outlawed in 1977. What I do know is that the men and women I photograph are waiting and it is time.
